On the initiative of the Cluster of Excellence Mathematics Münster, IMAGINARY’s 10-Minute Museum complements the special exhibition “The Climate” at the LWL Museum.
Climate scientists worldwide share data and results and integrate their models. Organizations help them collaborate, turn research results into policies, and establish international agreements.
The World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and the World Climate Research Programme (WCRP) set research agendas and help coordination and information exchange.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) produces reports communicating the latest climate science to policymakers.
The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) made over 190 countries agree on limiting global warming to 1.5ºC above pre-industrial levels.
