On the initiative of the Cluster of Excellence Mathematics Münster, IMAGINARY’s 10-Minute Museum complements the special exhibition “The Climate” at the LWL Museum.
Mathematics is indispensable for understanding climate change and modeling future scenarios. This is vividly and interactively demonstrated by the “10-Minute Museum Mathematics of the Climate Crisis”, part of the special exhibition “The Climate” at the LWL Museum. The exhibition runs from August 8, 2023, to January 14, 2024.
On August 15, 2023, the opening lecture of the accompanying program, “How mathematics can contribute to the climate debate”, is given by Prof. Dr. Rupert Klein, mathematician and climate impact researcher from Freie Universität Berlin.
An accompanying program in cooperation with the Cluster of Excellence and other institutions of the University of Münster invites visitors to delve deeper into the topic.
