The participation of Institute for Pure and Applied Mathematics at SBPC 2026 counted with a space dedicated to Imaginary. The event was held at UFF - Fluminense Federal University, at Niterói - RJ.   The Brazilian Society for the Advancement of Science (Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência − SBPC) is a nonprofit organization with no political association, focused on promoting scientific and technological advances and furthering education and culture in Brazil.    Since its establishment in 1948, it has been playing a key role in expanding and enhancing Brazil’s science and technology system, in addition to making science public and more popular all over the Country.
