Bridges 2013 - eine Konferenz über die Beziehungen zwischen Mathematik und Kunst

Die Bridges-Konferenz 2013 über Beziehungen zwischen Kunst und Mathematik findet vom 27. bis zum 31. Juli 2013 in Enschede, Niederlande, statt. Vorgestellt werden die neuesten Arbeiten an der Schnittstelle von Mathematik, Musik, Kunst, Architektur und Kultur.

Einige Highlights neben dem Konferenzprogramm: Kunstausstellung, experimentelles Theater, Mime-Matics-Abend, öffentliche Vorträge, Musikabend, Kurzfilmfestival, Tag des Gedichts, Familientag, Exkursionstag.

Zwei Konferenzbeiträge sind unmittelbar auf IMAGINARY bezogen: einer über des Programm SURFER und seine Verwendung in der Mathematikkunst und -kommunikation, und einer über „How to make an IMAGINARY exhibition“. Auch andere Künstler des IMAGINARY-Netzwerks werden ihre jüngsten Werke bei Bridges vorstellen.
