At IdeenExpo 2026, visitors can experience technology and the natural sciences in a very special way, try experiments at interactive stations, and learn more about STEM careers.

The games “Qaboom” and “Quantum Quest” were developed to communicate mathematical concepts of quantum computing in a playful way. The two games, a skill-based challenge and a puzzle game, were built as classic arcade machines.

Both exhibits were created within the project “Quantum Aktiv” and will be shown at the project’s stall at Messegelände Hannover.

The games were developed by IMAGINARY in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences (MPI MiS), supported by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space.
