The “Aktionslabor Redaktionelle Gesellschaft” is a mobile and interactive exhibition on the topic of media and news literacy. The lab is designed to inform people, generate attention through irritation, and stimulate reflection on how we deal with information in a low-threshold, entertaining, and uncomplicated way.

In the game Citizen Quest, visitors solve tasks together in a fictitious city and discover that challenges in dealing with information can be solved collaboratively and profitably. The game deals with topics such as disinformation and participation, but also with questions such as “Who owns the urban space?”

The Aktionslabor is part of the Bucerius Lab’s thematic focus “Redaktionelle Gesellschaft” (Editorial Society). The action lab is an initiative of the ZEIT STIFTUNG BUCERIUS together with the Hamburger Bücherhallen, the creative agency lilazwei, the agency PlayersJourney and IMAGINARY.
