Geproci sets arise from applying the perspective of inverse scattering problems to algebraic geometry. Analogous to the reconstruction of an object from multiple X-ray images, we aim at a classification of sets with certain algebraic properties under multiple projections.

We describe a journey through our exhibition La La Lab - the Mathematics of Music, which mixes a laboratory format with interactive exhibits to present visitors with the historical, conceptual, and artistic connections between mathematics and music, pushing forward musical creativity, mathematical knowledge and any blending of the two.

When the rigorous foundation of calculus was developed, it marked an epochal change in the approach of mathematicians to geometry. Tools from geometry had been one of the foundations of mathematics until the 17th century but today, mainstream conception relegates geometry to be merely a tool of visualization. In this snapshot, however, we consider geometric and constructive components of calculus.

This paper describes the weaving technique of a traditional Colombian hat called sombrero vueltiao and some of its patterns. The making of the hat–and weaving in general–involves interesting mathematical thoughts and concepts and offers many learning opportunities, for all of which we provide examples in this paper.
