1965년에 영국의 수학자 J. M. Hammersley는 확산과 투과가 원격통신 네트워크, 전염병의 확산, 불의 확산 그리고 물에서 얼음으로의 상전이에서도 일어남을 강조하였습니다.

The material has been developed for the IMAGINARY exhibitions in Spain and was awarded with a prize of the Initiative “Ciencia en Acción” 2012.
