As part of the ceremony, interesting games were played together with the audience. One of the games was Sumory, a game designed and produced during the IMAGINARY Conference 2018 as part of the workshop ‘The Math of Machine Learning’. Machine Learning algorithms are a hot topic in the scientific community, and of course, there’s a lot of math behind it. Sumory intuitively shows a basic principle of functioning for these methods and will be released under an open source licence soon. Players of Sumory will explore themselves, how machines can decide when to use learned knowledge and when to try new actions.
