Heidelberg Laureate Forum invita a jóvenes matemáticos e informáticos

Los preparativos para el segundo Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF) están en plena marcha. La Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation (HLFF) busca jóvenes matemáticos e informáticos excepcionales de todo el mundo que quieran tener la oportunidad de conocer personalmente a expertos distinguidos de ambas disciplinas y descubrir cómo convertirse en un destacado científico en su campo. Las solicitudes para una de las 200 exclusivas plazas en el Fórum (100 de cada disciplina) se aceptarán hasta el 28 de febrero de 2014.

El segundo HLF tendrá lugar del 21 al 26 de septiembre de 2014. Como en su anterior edición, reunirá ganadores del Premio Abel y de la Medalla Fields (matemáticas) así como el Premio Turing y el Premio Nevanlinna (informática) en una estimulante semana en Heidelberg, Alemania.

Acerca del HLF

El Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF) fue iniciado por la fundación Klaus Tschira Stiftung (KTS), que promueve las ciencias naturales, las matemáticas y la informática; y el Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS). El Fórum está organizado por la Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation en cooperación con los fundadores del Fórum, así como la Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), la Unión Matemática Internacional (IMU) y la Academia Noruega de Ciencias y Letras.
