Polygon is an interactive mobile app that allows users to discover polygons hidden in museums or science centers, and use them to construct Platonic and Archimedean solids. Scan polyhedra with your phone’s camera, answer mathematical questions to get powerups with additional shapes, and view the finished solids in Augmented Reality.

The variation of the Object’s position in Space within a time period is the essence of dynamics of physical world. The replacement of Nucleotide at different sites of DNA within a time period are the milestones of evolution of life. That shed light on our understanding of the evolution of life on the Earth and the Universe. The study of life evolution contribute to our understanding of different disciplines from geology to astronomy, wherever biology intervene without forgetting medicine and epidmeiology in fighting diseases through drug and vaccine development, mapping transmission networks, etc. We gave an example of a phylogenetic tree of influenza virus and its transmission network.
Most people know something about what causes tides: if asked, almost everyone will say tides are caused by the moon. But if one delves a little deeper, it is easy to find many questions which arise naturally and are not so easy to answer. This interactive application tries to give an intuitive approach to some of the mathematics underlying tides, which is not so obvious for non specialists.

The Platonic Solids are some of the most beautiful and symmetrical shapes in the mathematical world and as a result have fascinated mathematicians for thousands of years. This exhibit explains their mathematical deifnition and how they have been used throughout history to model everything in our universe, from the classical elements of Ancient Greece through to Kepler’s model of the solar system. It also explores their appearance in nature and how humans have made use of their mathematical properties to improve the design of man-made objects.
