IMAGINARY will take part in the session “Mathematik kommunizieren: Forschung versus Praxis”.

Communication in mathematical sciences presents special challenges due to the complex and abstract subject matter. During the session, practitioners and researchers engage in conversations about the hurdles they encounter and explore strategies for achieving successful communication. The central theme revolves around the delicate balance between innovative yet established practices and rigorous research in the field of science communication. Key questions include: What are the expectations of science communicators from researchers? How can research findings be more effectively applied in practical contexts? How can we harness this collaboration to construct a theoretical foundation for the science of science communication in the field of mathematics?
