Mappae mundi launched in Lisbon

Mappae mundi is the new web-based version of The Sphere of the Earth. This program explores the science of cartography and the geometry of map projections. This version now has more tools, dynamic maps, and a renovated web interface.
The program was launched on March 22th 2017, in the context of the exhibition Formas & Fórmulas, at the hall of the science faculty of the University of Lisbon. The author, Daniel Ramos, gave a short presentation of the program to the public and the faculty members.
Mappae mundi will be present in most IMAGINARY exhibitions in the future, substituting The Sphere of the Earth.
