The program was launched on March 22th 2017,  in the context of the exhibition Formas & Fórmulas, at the hall of the science faculty of the University of Lisbon. The author, Daniel Ramos, gave a short presentation of the program to the public and the faculty members.

Mappae mundi will be present in most IMAGINARY exhibitions in the future, substituting The Sphere of the Earth.
