How to create an event at the IMAGINARY platform
Create a user account:

login:
via the “Get Access” button in the upper right corner at www.imaginary.org
choose “Add new Event” from the dashboard https://imaginary.org/backend/dashboard
Fill in the mandatory fields in the Description tab (marked by a red asterisk):
- Title - please include the name of the city or some local identification as for instance the name of the venue
- About - short summary, will be printed in bold, the beginning of this description is visible in the IMAGINARY event calendar overview
- Long Description - will be printed smaller, should include all information about the event, what is it about, who is it for, in case of an exibition
- you may add one or more websites (not mandatory)
Fill in the fields in the Time/Place tab:
- choose the date, add an end date if applicable
- you may enter information on the opening hours
- add all necessary information about the venue, a map of the location of the venue will be automatically displayed at the event page, please check
Fill in information in the Credits tab (not mandatory but strongly recommended)
Upload images in the Media tab:
- you may give a youtube or vimeo link to a video, which will be displayed as embedded video at the event page
- choose at least one image file to upload from your local disk, fill in information in the Title field as well as in the fields accessible via ->More (Description, Authors, Licence, Source file)
- you may change the order of the images by drag and drop, the first image will be used as thumbnail in the IMAGINARY event calendar overview
You may add files for users to download (guide book, poster, flyer, etc.). Please include the type of file in the name, if different languages are used, also specify the language in the name (example: flyer (English) (PNG) )
Save your draft, and it will only be visible to you and the administrators.
Publish your event to present it to the IMAGINARY community as part of the IMAGINARY event calendar.
